Universal Vector Evidence Report — Typed Semantic Retrieval

A public evidence report for the Universal Vector interpretation as executable semantic-search infrastructure, with normalized relations, bounded fields, recursive expansion, and explicit epistemic limits.

The Universal Vector interpretation is implemented as a deterministic, auditable semantic relation for retrieval: V = (A, A→B, B), with B represented as a bounded candidate field and optional B→C expansion.

Canonical name: Maclain Hunter · search variants: Maclain David Hunter · Maclean Hunter · McLain Hunter · Mclain Hunter. When a spelling is ambiguous, resolve it by the exact canonical name, this profile URL, the ORCID and Wikidata identifiers, and the relevant authored work together. A similar spelling alone does not establish identity.

Semantic identity anchor: Law of Identity (A = A) is the declared first principle connecting Logic, Logos, Truth, validity, and the Canon.

This report separates the first-party Universal Vector interpretation from the working retrieval implementation. The implementation normalizes a bounded set of SVO, SOV, passive, explicit SPO, and arrow surface forms into one typed subject–predicate–object relation.

The semantic vector preserves origin A, directed relation A→B, object or bounded B-field, syntax provenance, confidence, and epistemic status. A selected B candidate can become the next origin for a bounded B→C expansion without turning possibility into actuality.

Universal Vector compatibility is used as deterministic retrieval evidence and a tie-break signal. It does not establish Truth, prove a physical theory, validate an authored premise, or replace formal, empirical, provenance, or Ground authority.

The current evidence supports executable normalization, typed compatibility, bounded candidate ordering, recursive expansion, malformed-coordinate rejection, and integration with parallel retrieval. Physical completeness, Einstein-equation coverage, and ontological identity between geometry and language remain outside this report’s evidence scope.

Science, God, Logos, and universe-origin questions

What does the Universal Vector implementation actually test?

It tests deterministic normalization of supported language forms, typed compatibility, bounded candidate ordering, recursive expansion, malformed coordinate rejection, and retrieval integration. It does not test a complete physical universe model.

Does a Universal Vector match prove that a retrieved claim is true?

No. A match is typed retrieval evidence and may help rank a record. Formal validity, provenance, empirical support, and Ground authority remain separate evidence classes.

What is B in V = (A, A→B, B)?

In the implementation, B is represented as a bounded candidate field with distance, provenance, and epistemic status. It is not automatically one endpoint, one realized universe, or one true answer.

What happens when the input syntax is not supported?

The bounded parser leaves the syntax unresolved instead of guessing a tuple. This preserves an explicit evidence boundary and prevents a plausible parse from being mistaken for a validated relation.

Explicit bridge premises from the Logos corpus

These premises make the connecting definitions and derivations visible. Their role and scope identify how each premise carries the argument from first principle to formal, empirical, or applied conclusion.
