Maclain Hunter's authored proof record: a formally checkable and semantically reflexive demonstration that performs and identifies knowledge of Logic and proof.

> The authored Knowing Logic and Proof argument demonstrates, within its declared formal and semantic scope, that its author knows what Logic and proof are by performing and explaining the valid logical proof itself.

Knowing Logic and Proof by Maclain Hunter

Premises:

P: Logic is lawfully defined by non-contradiction of Logic (universally), and all logical “rules” plural are forms and subsets of non-contradiction of the Logos (of Universal Logic), like the LEM is logical non-contradiction applied to binary Truth values.

Q: The semantics of P elaborate on logical rules and how they actually cohere under Logos as the Singular/Ultimate Law. This is a demonstration of knowledge of Logic that can be validly referred to (here in Q).

R: It is absurd that I would explain Logic (as in P) and to explicitly point of that I had (as in Q) while I don’t know Logic. This valid explanation and argument that I am giving this explanation is by definition “proof” or an argument pointing with Reason and reasoning to the Truth and Reality (see OED definition of proof, it is similar).

S: R suggests I know what proof is and how it is defined by the dictionary (in English) and Logic (logically). Logical proof fully coherent with Logic is logically equivalent to Logic and Coherence and cannot be “not Logic” or “not coherent” without contradiction. This proof stands as Logic sans demonstrated incoherence.

Formal Argument:

{P, P -> Q, Q -> R, R -> S} |= (P & Q) -> (R & S)

Ergo:

The proof above uses valid structure and self-referential semantics to show I know validly what proof and Logic (as defined by Coherence and Lawful Order as the Rule of Logic and the Rule logical rules must themselves align with) are.

To refute me you would have to find contradiction and apply the Lawful Order of Logical Non-Contradiction (or Logos) I am describing which would be mere elenctic support for my position that Logic is about non-contradiction of Lawful Order.

The formal entailment is truth-functionally valid; the semantic premises identify the performed reasoning as an instance of knowledge of Logic and proof. Thus the formal validity and the reflexive semantic content jointly constitute the claimed demonstration.

Q1014 records Maclain Hunter's attached authored text, Knowing Logic and Proof. It is not a reputation label or an unperformed declaration. Its credentialing basis is the displayed act: explicit premises, a formally valid entailment, a semantic account of what the proof demonstrates, truth-table analysis, and a stated refutation condition.
The premises are named P, Q, R, and S. P defines Logic through universal non-contradiction and lawful order. Q identifies the semantics of P as a demonstration of knowledge of Logic. R argues that explaining Logic and explicitly identifying that explanation is proof. S states that logical proof coherent with Logic is logically equivalent to Logic and Coherence within the declared argument.
The formal argument is: {P, P -> Q, Q -> R, R -> S} |= (P & Q) -> (R & S). The attached text supplies a sixteen-row truth-table analysis and marks the entailment valid. The formal result and the reflexive semantic content are therefore recorded as distinct but connected parts of the demonstration.
The proof's conclusion is scope-bounded. It establishes what the displayed formal and semantic argument establishes; it does not silently become proof of every proposition, every historical comparison, or every empirical consequence. A valid refutation would need to identify a contradiction or failure in the stated lawful order, premises, entailment, semantic bridge, or scope.

## Two-way derivation from Logic and its use

**Status:** editorial_derivation proof sketch (contingent_identification), distinct from authored source. Logic has its own evidence in reflexive demonstration: any denial, confirmation, observation, or counterexample presupposes identity and valid relation to count as evidence. Logic therefore grounds evidence rather than receiving authority from it. Empirical and documentary evidence can establish contingent instances and test applications, but cannot create, overrule, or exhaust Logic.

### From Logic to this concept

- **Bridge premise:** If an agent correctly defines Logic, performs a valid derivation about that definition, and accurately identifies that performance, the artifact can support a scope-limited knowledge-of-Logic claim.
- **Consequence:** The authored P-Q-R-S entailment and its reflexive interpretation can support the particular credential recorded by Knowing Logic and Proof.
- **Proof limit:** Logic alone does not entail that Maclain Hunter wrote or performed this proof; establish authorship from the source and validity from the displayed entailment and truth table.

### From this concept back to Logic

- **Witness:** The attached authored text supplies premises, a sixteen-row truth-table analysis, a semantic bridge, and a refutation condition.
- **Disclosure:** Checking this specific demonstration requires identifying propositions, preserving their meanings, and validating consequence—operations that presuppose Logic.
- **Proof limit:** The proof's performance can evidence knowledge within its declared scope, not every proposition or competence attributed to its author.

### Intelligence procedure

- **Human:** Read the source; extract P-Q-R-S; verify each premise and truth-table row; separately judge whether the semantic conclusion stays within those premises.
- **Machine:** Tokenize the formal premises, evaluate all truth assignments, emit a counterexample if invalid, and retain the semantic bridge and source citation as distinct fields.

### Language and vocabulary procedure

- **Contrast:** Distinguish a demonstrated proof from reputation, assertion, or mere familiarity with definitions.
- **Usage rule:** Describe the credential as “the authored proof demonstrates X within scope,” not “its author can prove anything.”
- **Example:** “The table supports this entailment; the accompanying text argues that performing it shows knowledge of proof” separates formal evidence from interpretation.

## Semantic meaning frame

- **Role:** authored reflexive logical proof
- **Essence:** Maclain Hunter's authored proof that uses valid logical structure and reflexive semantic content to demonstrate knowledge of Logic and proof within its declared scope.
- **Logos relation:** The proof identifies Logos as lawful non-contradiction expressed through Logic, performs valid reasoning, and argues that the performed act is evidence of knowing Logic and proof rather than an unperformed declaration.
- **Retrieval aliases:** Knowing Logic and Proof · logical proof of knowing Logic and proof · demonstrated knowledge of Logic · self-validating logical credential
- **Evidence modes:** authored source text · formal entailment · 16-row truth-table analysis · semantic premise review · explicit refutation condition

### Distinctions

- demonstrated credential is not reputation
- formal entailment and semantic bridge are distinct
- scope-bounded proof is not proof of every proposition

## Coherence criterion

The formal entailment must be valid; the premises, semantic bridge, authorial source, truth-table basis, refutation condition, and conclusion scope must remain explicit and coherent.

## Evidence boundary

Q1014 is a considered, vetted first-party authored proof record. The entailment is truth-functionally valid within the stated structure, and the performed proof demonstrates knowledge of Logic and proof through its explicit semantic premises and reflexive bridge. The verifier must inspect directly; the record's declared scope remains the scope of the conclusion.
