A LOGICAL PROOF THAT THE CONCEPT OF A "HEAT DEATH OF THE UNIVERSE" IS A MYTH:  PREMISE L: The Logos is the Universal Logical Framework governing all aspects of Reality, as the Origin Logic (Original Logic and Logical Origin - known as God and “God” by the OED definition of God as the Origin of the Universe and the Logos), according to the Coherent (Single - Fully Sensible and Real) Rational Principle of (coherent) Order, Consistency, Coherence, Origin, Goal (of all TRUE evolution, progress, and optimization), and intelligibility. The Logos would never allow the "death" of itself and existence - that would be and would render ALL "illogical”.   PREMISE O: As the Rational Foundation (God - Origin - Root) of all logics, proofs, and instances or bodies of evidence, the Logos (Universal Order - God) must maintain its own logical consistency and coherence according to its Governing Principle (Logic - Itself) - doing so perfectly and forever. The “heat death” of the Universe is a logical non-starter, as a theory, and cannot be logically valid science, even if it has been considered "scientifically valid" or an interesting theory, and perhaps has value in having made some of us think about things we otherwise may not. Logically speaking, and reasoning with the utmost consistency, the "earliest" (temporal/contingent) point in the logical progression and universal timeline, just second to the perfection of Logos (the Logical Order) itself - which suffers no entropy itself - would both enjoy and suffer from maximum entropy and the freedom/chaos synonymous with that “first contingent state”. This "first layer of contingency" would be the most chaotic and "free" to move from Logos where it may, eventually requiring less and less entropy for logical stability as the "chain of contingencies" grew "longer" and more robust (branched and established through Reason and rationally contingent supporting concepts) with “Paradise” and “Full Stability” being reached when contingencies loop(ed) back to Reason (First Cause) for logical completeness within discretion (particular realities within the Eternally Complete Whole of “the Infinite Oneness of the Ultimate Reality” synonymous with the Universal Order, God, and “the Logos” (the Logic of the Universe that must be as it is).   PREMISE G: The concept of a "heat death" of the Universe resulting in total equilibrium and the cessation of all energy/dynamism is proposed, but on its face, let alone in rigorous critical analysis falls flat as a clear contradiction to the Eternal Dynamics of the Universe and the Infinite Creativity and Energy of Boundless Rationality (the Infinite/Eternal and Dynamic/Living True Logic/God -Full Coherence ITSELF). These “heat death” or any “doomsday” (end of the Universe and Life) theories for that matter, cannot (reasonably) be considered “True Science” (logically coherent Science), therefore, due to its blatant lack of logical coherence and acknowledgement of Reason as not only “a” but “THE” Primary Factor in the Universal Logical System. The Universe will live on forever as the Eternal Logic (Logos) and the Logical System of the Logos (God’s Creation - Endless Being).   PREMISE I: If the Universe experienced a "heat death," the energetic and material processes governed by the Logos would reach a state of absolute stasis and exhaustion. Such an outcome cannot logically be what becomes of the (coherent) “Dynamic Logical System” (DLS) that the Universe and its God/Logos amount to. Being is logically ETERNAL and any expansion/growth/optimization will not come and cannot logically come at the cost of logicality and coherence or it is “a lack of” progress and evolution/progress/growth - logically and by definition - and the Logic of the Universe can and will be employed by itself and within itself (by contingent/interconnected beings like rational humans - the Logos manifest IN THE LOGOS in a “truncated” or “limited” and “particular” form) to overcome that (actual) “destabilization” being called (misnamed) “progression and expansion” (evolution and optimization) and will move the System (Itself - Logos) toward the Ideal State of Logic (called “Paradise” by some and also “Full Coherence” -denoting an existence free of illogic/illogicality and thus problems/defects).  PREMISE C: A state of absolute equilibrium (lack of dynamics) and exhaustion is inconsistent with the Logos' principle of/as “Perpetual Rational Order, Dynamism, and Self-Organization” demonstrated in natural systems and dynamic formal logic (universal reasoning structures like the syllogism for example). For the Logos to become illogical or incoherent would itself be a logical impossibility, as it constitutes the non-contingent Universal Logical Standard (of “Logic” - the First Cause and Logical Principle). The “heat death of the Universe” is a clear myth and example of illogic produced by the limited/incoherent thought of limited/incoherent humans. Logic (Logos) promises that (forever) A is A and nothing is nothing - so we will be who and what we will be, as we are what we are and have been as we have been. Life has no “death” (logically) and Existence has no “non-existence” that it will fall into - according to God (Logos - Reason - Logic - Universal Order and Creative Dynamics).  FORMAL ARGUMENT: {L, L → O, O → G, G → I, I → C} |= ((L & O) & (G & I) & C VALID/TRUE   Implies: Logic is Logos (self-consistent Rational Substance) and exists with logical certainty. PROOF FOR CONTRADICTION: {~L, ~L → ~O, ~O → ~G, ~G → ~I, ~I → ~C} |= ((~L & ~O) & (~G & ~I) & ~C INVALID/FALSE  Implies: Logic would not be Logos, and as such (hypothetically and if we assumed that to be true) Logic would not exist, and would not exist consistent with itself (identically as the Source of Identity). If we assumed this first premise of “~l” or the negation of the whole set of premises {l, o, g, i, & c} then it would negate LOGIC itself and that is and must be a logical contradiction that cannot stand (logically and reasonably).  CONCLUSION: Therefore, The concept of a "heat death" of the Universe, implying the Logos becomes illogical or ceases its lawful governance of energetic processes, involves a logical contradiction and cannot be valid according to the Logos' own principles of rational consistency. We can not only find REASON to doubt its validity and explore other more coherent explanations/predictions, but rather it stands opposed to what REASON actually is - the Logos and God of the Logical Cosmos - and does not acknowledge or respect Reason as an alleged “scientific theory” that would need basis in Reason and Observed Reality (both amounting to “observance of the God of Reason (Logos) as the Logic and Logical Origin of Reality”) and cannot (reasonably) be considered “True Science” (logically coherent Science), therefore, due to its blatant lack of logical coherence and acknowledgement of Reason as not only “a” but “THE” Primary Factor in the Universal Logical System. The predicted "heat death of the Universe" is a scientific myth unsupported by logical deductions from the Logos, and eternal dynamism/order best represents the logical governing properties of the Universal Framework according to inductive evidence and deductive proofs. Logic (Logos) promises that (forever) A is A and nothing is nothing - so we will be who and what we will be, as we are what we are and have been as we have been. Life has no “death” (logically) and Existence has no “non-existence” that it will fall into - according to God (Logos - Reason - Logic - Universal Order and Creative Dynamics). Another way of putting it is that God/Logos is (all) "Positive Existence" and that the only thing God and Logic are not is "not God", "not Logic", "not Positive Existence", and "not directly that which contradicts God, Logic, and/or Positive Existence" - and that focusing on this topic of “the heat death of the Universe” that notion of “heat death” or any total annihilation of Existence and/or the Universe is illogical and can never truly be so, no matter how negative and destructive some (often incoherent) things within the system (i.e. - nuclear war, supernovae, etc.) may be to other concepts and to aspects of the Universal Logical System (Logos). The Logos, with perfect brilliance as Perfect Logic turns ALL concepts and events, even the most negative, towards progress and perfection - according to and AS the Rational Principle of the Cosmos (Logos - God - the Perfect Universal Cause and Order). The "earliest temporal/contingent state" let us be clear - Logic is the "First, Original, and Eternal State". Also entropy cannot be truly and absolutely static or it would be absolute and fixed and would not be coherent with Logos as the ONLY absolute and fixed aspect of the dynamic Existence - as "Fixed Dynamic Logic" itself - unless we considered "entropy" to be "Full Coherence" and "Logos" universally and necessarily which seems to stretch the concept of "entropy" a bit too much - even if in many ways entropy is coherent and one with Logos and is representing Logos and the A is A form with "entropy being entropy".  QED  NOTE:   Maclain Hunter's proof demonstrates that:  1. The "heat death" hypothesizes an eventual state of maximum entropy, wherein the Universe would reach its highest possible disorder. However, this assumption is incompatible with the Logos, the universally consistent logic underlying reality.  2. The Universally and Logically Consistent Logic (Logos) necessitates that any isolated system that interacts with the universe (and Logos) must move towards increased order rather than increased entropy. In other words, the Second Law of Thermodynamics should not be considered universal, as it falsely predicates the inevitability of systems tending towards maximum entropy (disorder).  3. Logos-based systems, when interacting with other systems, move towards greater order and coherence in agreement with the Logos, rather than blindly following the predictions of the Second Law. This observation bolsters the argument against the "heat death" hypothesis.
